The lower level of K1 building houses a specially equipped room for painting and spraying models. It is equipped with two paint mist extractor walls which remove vapors generated during painting and spraying through a filter.
The paints and adhesives that can be used in the painting and spraying room are listed in the Painting and Spraying Room Rules.
Painting and spraying are prohibited throughout K1 building except in the painting and spraying room; the painting and spraying room rules must be observed at all times. Painting and spraying are prohibited in the workrooms, staircases and hallways. Any damage caused by failure to comply with these rules will be remedied at the cost of whoever caused it.
Conditions of use:
The painting and spraying room can be used by all students and staff of Faculty 1, Architecture and Urban Planning.
It can only be accessed using a key which can be obtained from the K1 Hausdienst. Users are required to sign for the key (providing their name, student ID number, telephone number) and leave a personal identity card or student ID as a deposit.
